Adults interested in a short introductory movement class can check the Polk County History Center’s free Jazzercise session on Tuesday, November 10. The official registration page lists 6 to 6:30 p.m. at the History Center and Genealogical Library, 100 E. Main St., Bartow, Florida 33830. Participants must be at least 18, and registration is required.

What to expect

Denise Bohde, owner and instructor at Jazzercise Bartow, is listed as leading the 30-minute introduction. The registration page welcomes all experience levels. The session is part of Arts and Health Week, described by the organizer as led by the Polk Arts and Health Collaborative, a Watson Clinic Foundation initiative. This event listing is not a promise of a particular fitness or medical result.

Reserve before attending

Use the History Center’s official registration page linked below to request a place. The county says space is limited, and a visible ticket selector does not guarantee a booking until the organizer confirms it. We did not reserve tickets or submit anyone’s personal information. For questions, the event page lists Shannon Graham at (863) 534-4386 and historycenter@polkfl.gov.

What to bring

The organizer asks participants to wear comfortable clothing they can move in and athletic shoes, and to bring a small towel and water. Ask the organizer about accessibility or adaptations you need before registering. Check the event page for any schedule changes before traveling.

The county History Center page and its linked registration page were both reviewed November 7. Other Arts in Motion sessions have separate dates and registration links; a reservation for Jazzercise should not be treated as admission to another class.
